Basic processing
Grass lattice base treatment for parking spaces:
1. The foundation soil should be compacted in layers, and the compactness should reach more than 85%; If it belongs to the soft plastic-flow plastic silt layer, it is recommended to throw and fill the stone and roll it to compact.
2. Set up 150 thick sand and gravel cushion. The specific method is: 10% of medium coarse sand, 60% of 20-40 particle size gravel, and 30% of cohesive soil are mixed and mixed, flattened and rolled until compact.
3. Set up a 60-thick stable layer (doubles as a vegetative layer). The method of stabilizing layer is: 25% gravel with a particle size of 10-30, 15% medium coarse and fine river sand, 60% tillage soil and mixed with an appropriate amount of organic fertilizer, the three are mixed evenly, paved on the sand and gravel cushion, rolled and compacted, and can be used as the base layer of grass grid.
4. Sprinkle a little organic fertilizer on the base layer and artificially pave the grass grid. The external dimensions of the grass grid are designed according to the size modulus of the parking space, and generally do not need to be cut when paving; When the parking space has special shape requirements or there is a sewage manhole cover on the parking space, the grass planting grid can be tailored to meet the requirements of different shapes of the parking space.
5. Sprinkle planting soil in the groove of the grass planting grid and sweep it evenly into the grass planting grid hole with a broom, and the soil height is 5-10mm lower than the grass planting grid plane.
6. Spread turf or sow grass on top of the planting soil layer of the grass planting grid. When laying turf, the turf needs to be compacted on the planting soil. Watering and curing until the grass is alive can be parked.

For grass lattice base treatment in fire lanes:
1. Pave grass lattices on the fire lane, and the compactness of the foundation soil should meet the design requirements of the general concrete fire lane.
2. The design requirements of the gravel cushion and stone powder stabilization layer of the fire lane are also the same as those of the ordinary concrete fire lane.
3. Make an 80-thick layer of nutrient soil on top of the stone powder stabilization layer. The soil layer method is: 30% gravel with a particle size of 10-30, 15% medium coarse and fine river sand, 55% tillage soil and mixed with an appropriate amount of organic fertilizer, the three are mixed evenly, paved on the compacted stone powder stable layer, compacted, can be used as the base layer of grass planting.
4. Pave the grass lattice and plant grass on the grass planting lattice base.
5. It is worth noting that if the fire lane is used as the main passage for vehicles in ordinary times, due to the frequent and fast driving of vehicles, this is not conducive to the use of grass lattice and the normal growth of turf, but affects the greening rate and aesthetics, in this case, we recommend that the main vehicular traffic road still use concrete pavement. Only in the event of a firefighting emergency, the road surface where firefighting vehicles can enter is a grass-planted lattice pavement. In the same way, it is recommended that the access pavement of the parking lot be made of concrete, while the parking space should be planted with grass lattice.

For grass lattice base treatment for sidewalks:
1. Historical facts on the original basis.
2. Pave grass planting lattices on the compacted base soil.
3. Sprinkle planting soil in the groove of the grass planting grid and sweep it evenly into the grass planting grid hole with a broom, and the soil height is 5-10mm lower than the grass planting grid plane.
4. Lay turf on top of the grass grid. When laying turf, the turf needs to be compacted on the planting soil. Watering and curing can be used after the grass is alive.
Construction precautions
1. The gravel foundation is required to be tamped, the degree of compaction is considered to be the maximum bearing pressure, the surface is required to be smooth, and the drainage slope of 1%-2% is better. The seepage holes in the concrete foundation should be filled with pebbles or gravel and sand to prevent soil erosion.
2. Each grass grid has a link buckle, and the paving is interlocking. After the grass lattice pavement is completed, use a small roller or plate vibrator to press back and forth on the surface of the grass lattice, and the uneven places need to be trimmed until the surface of the grass lattice reaches the level.
3. It is recommended to use high-quality nutrient soil for the filling soil in the grass planting grid. When returning to the soil, it should be sprinkled with water to make the soil can precipitate, and the nutrient soil on the surface of the grass grid should be evenly swept into the grass grid hole with a bamboo broom, and the height of the soil layer should be 5-10mm lower than the plane of the grass grid.
4. The turf is generally made of Manila grass, which is resistant to trampling and easy to grow. When laying turf, a gap of about 20mm should be left and the paving should be staggered in a zigzag shape. After the turf is laid, it is watered thoroughly with water to make the turf soft, and then the grass roots are pressed into the grass planting grid with a small roller or plate vibrator (repeated many times) to make it easier for the grass roots to grow downward.
5. Stop the car for use after one month of maintenance; If the grass is constructed between November and March of the following year (dormant period), it should be maintained for two months before stopping.
6. During use or after the rainy season, if there is a small amount of planting soil erosion, you can evenly sprinkle some soil or sand from the surface of the lawn to fill the soil lost due to rainwater erosion.
7. The lawn needs to be mowed 4-6 times a year, weeds should be pulled out in time, fertilized, and watered frequently or equipped with automatic sprinkler equipment in the hot and dry season, and the necessary maintenance and management work should be done.
